Who we are
GratefulRise is a product of ZonaStak, which operates this website and the GratefulRise web app.
What we store
Your account details, your journal entries (gratitude, intention, reflection), your alarm and movement preferences, and the settings you choose — only what the app needs to work.
Who can see your journal
Only you. Entries are stored in your own account and protected so that no other user can read them.
Voice journaling
Speech is turned into text by your browser's built-in speech recognition so you can review and edit it before saving. We store the text you save, not audio recordings.
AI reflections
Optional AI features run on our servers only when you tap them. Your entry is sent to an AI provider to generate the reply, which is clearly labelled. Your original entry is never changed.
Contact form and waitlist
If you contact us or join a waitlist, we store your name (for contact), email, topic and message or interest so we can reply or tell you when something launches. We never publish or sell these details.
Site analytics
We may measure overall visits, page views and general traffic sources (for example, which website referred you) to understand how the site is used. We don't use this to identify you personally or sell it to anyone.
Purchases
Website subscriptions use Stripe for checkout and billing. We store transaction references and subscription status to manage access, but not your full payment card details. Future phone-app purchases may use Apple or Google. Physical journal purchases, when available, take place through the linked marketplace.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its journal and other app data from the app at any time. An active website subscription is canceled first. Our payment provider may retain transaction records where required by law.
